Quebec is the most populated province in Canada. There, First Nations people are on the move, making their communities safer by ever-improving Emergency Management strategies. Paul-Emile Auger is working with First Nations communities there. Paul-Emile Auger Bio

Paul-Emile Auger is Emergency Management (EM) Specialist at the Grand Council of the Waban-Aki Nation near Trois Rivières, Quebec, the French-speaking province in Eastern Canada. He is also an Incident Commander for crises and disasters, and responsible for public security in daily life. His job scope includes supporting all First Nations in Quebec in the four pillars of EM: Prevention, Preparation, Intervention & Recovery. Prior to this he worked as at the Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada as EM & Procurement Officer. He has done post-graduate studies in Sociology at Quebec's Laval University and completed a Bachelor's in Political Science there as well. He is fluent in both French and English and is one of the rare people who can move in both social circles, as well as among First Nations everywhere.
